Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

This policy explains how Cass Theodore handles personal information through this website and marketing services. For privacy questions or requests, email cass@thatmrkg.com.

2. Information collected

If you make an enquiry, I collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, business information and message. A project or booking may also involve your phone number, contact details, correspondence, invoice information and information needed to provide the agreed service.

If you subscribe to Inside My Marketing Mind, MailerLite collects the name and email address you provide, together with subscription and interaction information. The newsletter signup also uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam.

Website hosting, analytics and advertising services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, device information, pages visited, referring page, approximate location, timestamps and cookie or advertising identifiers. Do not include sensitive personal information in the enquiry form unless it is necessary and we have agreed how to handle it.

3. Why information is used

Information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange calls, prepare quotes, deliver agreed services, administer client relationships, issue invoices, maintain business records, protect the website against spam and understand how visitors use the site.

If you subscribe, it is also used to send the newsletter and related marketing communications. Subscribing is separate from making an enquiry. You can unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or contact me directly.

4. Website forms and bookings

The enquiry form is processed by FormSubmit and sent to my business email. FormSubmit may process the contents of your submission and technical information under its own privacy arrangements. The introductory website enquiry button opens your email application instead of submitting an online form.

Newsletter subscriptions are processed by MailerLite. Booking links open Google’s appointment service, which processes the information you enter under Google’s Privacy Policy. Google reCAPTCHA may also process device and interaction information.

Fictional website concept forms are demonstrations. They do not submit an enquiry to me or to the fictional business.

5. Analytics, advertising and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics and Meta Pixel. Google Analytics helps measure visits, pages viewed and actions such as clicking a booking link. Meta Pixel helps measure website activity and can support advertising audiences and measurement on Meta platforms.

These tools may use cookies and similar technologies and share technical information with Google and Meta. They may associate activity with information held by those providers. The site’s custom analytics events do not intentionally include the text you enter into enquiry fields.

You can manage cookies in your browser and review your Google advertising settings and Meta advertising preferences. Google also provides an Analytics browser opt out tool. Blocking cookies may affect some website features and may not prevent every form of technical data processing. This website does not currently provide an on site cookie preference panel.

6. Providers and disclosure

Information may be handled by providers needed to operate the business, including website hosting and security, email, FormSubmit, MailerLite, Google, Meta and relevant accounting or professional advisers. The website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure.

Where a client project requires access to advertising, email or other business systems, access and handling of project data will be covered by the project arrangements. I do not sell enquiry details or newsletter subscriber lists.

Information may also be disclosed where required or authorised by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or investigate misuse.

7. Overseas processing

Some providers operate internationally, so information may be processed or stored outside Australia, including in the United States and other locations used by the relevant provider. Locations depend on the provider, service and account settings.

Provider privacy policies explain their own handling of information. An external link does not mean this website controls the provider’s practices.

8. Security and retention

Access to business information should be limited to the people and services that need it, with account security and access controls appropriate to the information involved. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Business records are retained for the purposes they were collected for and any applicable record keeping requirements. Requests to delete information will be considered subject to legal obligations, existing client agreements and the need to retain relevant business records. Backups and provider systems may retain copies for a period after deletion from active systems.

9. Access, correction and complaints

You can contact me to ask about personal information held about you, request access or correction, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern. I may need to verify your identity before providing or changing information. I will explain if a request cannot be fulfilled and why.

Please email cass@thatmrkg.com with enough information to understand your request, without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. If your concern is not resolved, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner can explain available complaint options and whether it has jurisdiction.

This policy will be updated if the website’s tools or information handling practices change. The current version and date will be shown on this page.
